it is in working order . the end of the hose has a thread casing made of plastic and that spilt . so it was pushed together around the paddle thread and had electrical tape wound around and this does hold . however I don't think it is air tight and so it can drip a little with water . I don't know if you can repair the thread casing any better or if it just needs a new hose . can be used as it is but I think it drips a little more with water than it should ?
